S.Korea Aiming for More Gold in Archery at Asian Games
South Korea will set its sights on gold medals in archery on Wednesday, the 13th day of the Asian Games in Guangzhou, China.

Male archers Kim Woo-jin and Oh Jin-hyun will aim to win gold medals in the men’s individual matches. Kim and Oh, along with Im Dong-hyun, took the gold in the men’s archery team event earlier on Monday.

Also on Wednesday, the South Korean women’s hockey team will seek to defeat China for the rights to the gold at the Asian Games for the first time in 12 years.

Also on deck are the men’s volleyball team, which will compete against Japan in the semifinals, and the women’s volleyball team, which is pitted against Japan in the quarterfinals.

The men’s basketball team will play against the Philippines in the quarterfinals, and the women’s basketball team will seek to earn a spot in the finals by taking on Japan.

South Korea currently ranks second in the Games with 64 gold, 55 silver and 74 bronze medals.
