| N. Korea Fires Rockets into East Sea |

 North Korea has fired three short-range projectiles into the East Sea.
The South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff said that the North fired three projectiles from Wonsan, Gangwon Province at 9:30, 9:40 and 9:55 a.m. on Thursday.
The military said the projectiles are presumed to be 220-kilometer range 300-millimeter rockets, given their trajectories.
The South Korean military said it believes that the North is working on improving its rocket capabilities, as the flight range of their recent projectiles has increased.
