N. Korea Steps Up Efforts to Prevent Spread of Ebola Virus |

North Korea's health authorities are stepping up quarantine and disinfection activities at airports and seaports to prevent the Ebola virus from entering the country.
Appearing on the North's state-run Korean Central TV, Cho Kwang-il, deputy chief of Central Hygienic and Anti-Epidemic Station under the Ministry of Public Health said health officials and residents are strengthening campaigns to propagate sanitation to block the spread of the deadly virus.
He added that the authorities will keep watch on entrants from Ebola-hit regions for 20 days, the incubation period of the virus.
