S. Korea Adds 2 Silver Medals in Table Tennis at Tokyo Paralympics

South Korea has added two silver medals in table tennis at the Tokyo Paralympics. 

A trio comprising Lee Mi-gyu, Yoon Ji-yu and Seo Su-yeon lost to China in the women’s team class 1-3 final at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium on Thursday afternoon. 

Earlier in the day, their male compatriots Kim Young-gun, Kim Jung-gil and Baek Young-bok also faced China in the men’s team class 4-5 final and lost 2-0. 

Team Korea previously earned 10 other medals in table tennis at the Tokyo Paralympics, including one gold and three silver. 

South Korea will once again vie for gold in table tennis in the men’s team class 1-2 final Friday afternoon.
