Who are the most popular comedians by gender for the first half of 2013?

The people have spoken and they're none other than Yoo Jae-suk and Shin Bora!

The results are from a poll conducted by research firm Leespiar on 1,332 men and women from the ages of 13-64 in Korea. The nation's MC, Yoo, came in first in the men's category with 42.3%. Kim Jun-hyun was in second with 13.4%. Other funny-men that made the list were Huh Kyung-hwan, Kang Ho-dong, Lee Kyung-kyu, Kim Byung-man, Lee Soo-geun, Kim Jun-ho, Shin Dong-yeop, and Kim Ki-ri.

As for the women, Shin dominated with 27% of the votes, followed by Park Mi-sun with 21.7%. People like Shin Bong-sun and Park Ji-sun were next in line.

The same survey yielded results stating Jo In-sung and Song Hye-gyo -- both co-starring in the drama "Wind Blows In The Winter" -- as the most popular actor and actress. The most popular artists were picked as Lee Seung-gi and Girls Generation.
