In the wake of celebrities Se7en and Sangchu -- in addition to a few other celebrity military recruits -- being caught abusing the privilege of promoting outside of the barracks, the Ministry of Defense has announced the punishments these entertainers will receive.
According to the ministry, not only will the celebrity recruit department be abolished, Se7en and Sangchu have been sentenced with 10 days in military jail. Five additional celebrity recruits will also be sentenced to military prison, albeit only four days for inappropriate usage of their cell phones. One other solider will be assigned 10 days of probation in confinement for having left his station to watch movies after hours.
The Ministry of Defense elaborated on their investigations, saying that the verdict was that Se7en and Sangchu were simply looking to receive just a massage. After coming across a Chinese massage parlor and Thai massage parlor that were both closed, they had entered the massage parlor reputed for offering forms of prostitution services, where the media had caught them on camera. However, they did leave as soon as they realized what type of massage establishment it was, with no intention of partaking in prostitution. Regardless, the two will be punished for not wearing their military uniform as well as leaving their dorms without permission.
