One of the hottest names in the young acting real is undoubtedly Song Joong-ki. Come August, fans will be hearing a lot less from him as he is set to enlist in the military.
Song will serve his mandatory military duty sentence as a Korean male starting August 27th.
Rather than creating a lot of fanfare, Song wrote to his fans through his agency,announcing that he had received the enlistment notice from the Military Manpower Administration. He said he will quietly conclude all his promotions and activities before then and enter the training facility. He made sure to thank his fans for their support,
wishing them well until he returns two years later. Fans attending Song's fan meeting on August 17th will have one last chance to greet Song before his military hiatus.
