EXO Continues to Break Album Sales Records
The group of the k-pop hour is without a doubt EXO. Their first full-length album "XOXO: is flying off the shelves as fans can't get enough of this idol group.

As of September 3rd (KST), EXO sold 424,260 copies of the regular version of their "XOXO" album released on June 3rd, 312,899 copies of the repackaged version released in August, for a staggering total of 737,159 total records sold.

SM Entertainment proudly stated that according to the Korean Music Industry Association, EXO is the first artist to have broken the record of selling over 700,000 albums in 12 years. The last time an artist achieved such a feat was in 2001. Kim Gun-mo's 7th album sold about 1.39 million copies and Jo Sung-mo's 4th album reported sales of 960,000 copies.
