Dasom of the popular idol group SISTAR will be bringing her acting talents to a new drama.

According to a KBS representative on September 24th, Dasom has been confirmed for a role in the drama "Love Through Song" on KBS. This will be about a year since her previous role in another KBS TV sshow, "Shut Up Family". Her male counterpart has yet to be selected.

Dasom's character will be named Song Deul-im, an aspiring musical actress. Directed by Lee Duk-gun and written by Hong Young-hee, "Love Through Song" will be about three families that go through life together and realize in the end that despite the hardships, they're very blessed to have each other in their lives.

The drama is set to premiere in November.
