Rock band Buzz sings rooting song for World Cup 2006
Rock band Buzz will sing the Red Devils’ official rooting song for the World Cup 2006 to be held in Germany. The title of the song is “Reds Go Together” which is a follow up version of “Oh! Pilseung Korea,” the rooting song used in the 2002 World Cup Korea-Japan by the Red Devils, the group of supporters for Korean football. The rock band Buzz recently completed recording the new song with some members of the Red Devils. The song “Reds Go Together” was written by Goh Seok-young who composed Buzz’s hit song “Coward.” Catchy melodies and delightful rhythm are the biggest characteristics of the song. The lyrics were written by newcomer Park Bong-sung. The words for the chorus part that goes “You are my champion, your and my champion” is a message for the members of the Korean national football team that means that the Koreans support the team nevertheless of the results of the matches. In the recording of the chorus part, more than 100 members of the Red Devils participated.
