After much speculation about k-pop's "it" idol couple breaking up, both respective agencies have confirmed that the two young singers have indeed called it quits.

Several insiders close to the couple had revealed that Beast's rapper Yong Jun-hyung and KARA's Goo Hara had broken up. Receiving confirmations from the young stars, Yong's Cube Entertainment and Goo's DSP Media both released official statements that the two had ecided to remain friends. The reason for their breakup was that the two gradually drifted with their busy schedules that kept them apart.
