2016-01-18

Go chung-man아이, 그 동안 쓸데없는 짓만 했어요.
We’ve been going about it all wrong all this time.
이거 한방이면 그냥 깨끗하게 끝나는 걸. 하하하
This would put an end to everything. Hahaha.
Kang Hyun-tae이걸로 박시온과 원장님을 밀어낼 수 있을 거라 생각하세요?
Do you think
This will be able to push the director and Park Shi-on out?
Go chung-man아, 물론이죠
Of course.
100% 확신합니다
I’m 100% certain.

[물론이죠] means “of course.” The word [물론] means “certainly,” “naturally” or “without debate” and it could also mean “of course” on its own. [이죠] is the shortened form of [이지요], a polite statement version of the verb [이다] meaning “to be.” So [물론이죠], translates to “it is without debate,” or simply “of course.”

When speaking casually, you can drop the verb altogether and just use the word [물론] to mean “of course.” This is how the word is used when you start a sentence by saying “of course.”

In other cases, you can either say [물론이지] or [물론이야], both of which are casual statement variations of the verb [이다].

Politely, you can either say [물론이지요] or the shortened version we heard on the clip, [물론이죠], or [물론이에요].

Formally, it would be [물론입니다].

So again, casually, say [물론], [물론이지] or [물론이야].

Politely, say [물론이지요], [물론이죠], or [물론이에요]

Last but not least, to be more polite or even formal, you can say [물론입니다].
