Singer Jang Hye Jin debuted in 1991, and gained fame in 1993 when her song <키작은 하늘 (Short Sky)> from her second album became a big hit. She went onto release a slew of hit numbers in the mid-1990s, but decided to take a break in the early 2000s in order to pursue more studies in the US, at Berklee College of Music. Since returning in 2006, she has been busy not only as a recording artist, but also as a professor of Applied Music at a university in Seoul.
