Film critics Jason Bechervaise and Darcy Paquet joined Korea24’s #MovieSpotlight to discuss one Hollywood film and one Korean film!

First, they discussed ‘Mission: Impossible –Dead Reckoning Part One,’ the latest in the hugely popular Hollywood “Mission: Impossible” franchise starring Tom Cruise(#톰크루즈). The film, directed and co-written by Christopher McQuarrie, has fared well in the Korean box office so far.

Then they reviewed the Korean movie ‘The Hill of Secrets’, director Lee Jieun (#이지은감독)’s feature debut that has been well received by local critics.. The film premiered at the Jeonju Film Festival in 2022.
