The 7th annual 2012 Seoul Drama Awards (SDA 2012) was held at the National Theatre of Korea, located in Seoul, on August 30th. Stars like Park Yoo-chun, Han Ji-min, Yeo Jin-goo, Shin Hyun-joon, Han Go-eun, Moon Chae-won, Jung Yoo-mi, China's 吴奇隆, Taiwan's 张家瑜, and Germany's Jonas Nay could be seen flocking down the red carpet. The SDA 2012 filtered through the 201 dramas that made it past the preliminary rounds, to select the best of the best dramas that aired in 37 countries around the world. This year, the Best Actor award went to Park Yoo-chun and the Best Actress award went to Han Ji-min. The drama "Princess's Man" won the Best Project Award, "The Firm" from the US won Top Project Award. The Ultimate Grand award went to the drama "Tree With Deep Roots".
