Amid repeated returns of court request documents by President Yoon Suk Yeol and his staff, the Constitutional Court says it will decide next week whether to regard as “delivery complete” impeachment trial documents that it has sent.

The top court’s Director General for Public Information Office Lee Jin said in a briefing in Seoul on Thursday that the court will reveal the decision on Monday.

Lee noted that a notification that the court had sent to Yoon on Monday informing him of the court's receipt of the National Assembly's impeachment motion was sent back for the third time on Thursday.

Lee said the court resent those documents as well as papers requesting the president to submit Cabinet meeting minutes to the president’s private residence on Thursday.

The top court can regard documents as “delivery complete” even if the person intended to receive them refuses to accept them.
