A joint investigative team has sent a second notice to President Yoon Suk Yeol, once again asking the president to appear for questioning about his short-lived martial law move earlier this month.

The joint team of investigators from the police agency, the defense ministry’s investigation unit and the Corruption Investigation Office for High-Ranking Officials(CIO), said Friday that it sent the request in the morning. 

The notice asked Yoon to appear at the CIO office at the government complex in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province, at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

It was sent to Yoon’s official residence and two offices at the presidential office, both by mail and email.

Yoon ignored the team’s initial summons, which asked him to appear for questioning this past Wednesday.
