CCTV Footage Shows Soldiers at Assembly Speaker's Home During Martial Law

National Assembly's Secretary General Kim Min-ki revealed on Tuesday that martial law troops were deployed to Assembly Speaker Woo Won-shik's home during the December 3 martial law incident.

During a press conference at the National Assembly, Kim said that after thoroughly reviewing footage from the CCTV installed at Woo's residence, 13 people, including soldiers were spotted.

According to the secretary general, at 1:42 a.m. on December 4, after the motion to lift the emergency martial law passed in the National Assembly, soldiers were seen walking along the exterior wall of Woo's home in Hannam-dong, gathering near the main gate of the residence by 1:50 a.m.

The footage showed eleven martial law troops and two unidentified individuals in civilian clothing.

Kim demanded to know whether there was an order to arrest Woo as well as information on the personnel deployed to the Speaker's residence.
