The justices of the Constitutional Court will hold a meeting on Monday amid mounting pressure to deliberate on multiple impeachment cases, including those of President Yoon Suk Yeol and Prime Minister Han Duck-soo.

The meeting, set for 2 p.m., will be presided over by Justice Moon Hyung-bae. 

The justices are expected to review Yoon’s impeachment case, as well as procedures and methods for Han’s impeachment trial. 

Asked how the court will handle Han’s impeachment trial, justice Kim Hyung-do told reporters on Monday that the justices need to discuss it, adding that no specific agenda has been decided for the meeting. 

Commenting on the deadly plane crash at Muan International Airport, Kim said he was saddened and extended his condolences to the families of the victims.

But he added that the tragedy will not affect the impeachment trial schedule.
