Presidential Candidates to Address Social Issues in Second TV Debate at KBS

Four of the presidential candidates running in the June 3 election will hold their second televised debate on Friday. 

The National Election Broadcasting Debate Commission is set to host the debate at 8 p.m. at a KBS studio in Seoul.

Democratic Party candidate Lee Jae-myung, People Power Party candidate Kim Moon-soo, Reform Party candidate Lee Jun-seok and Democratic Labor Party candidate Kwon Young-gook will begin by presenting their strategies to overcome social conflict and promote unity.

The two-hour debate will also cover their campaign pledges for the pension and health care systems, and how they plan to respond to the climate crisis. 

The four candidates are scheduled to participate in their third and final televised debate on Tuesday, when the focus will be on political issues.
