The Incheon City government says it will establish in the first half of next year a foundation to attract foreigners into the nation for medical services.

The Incheon Tourism Organization and large hospitals in Incheon have announced plans to contribute 50 million won each to the foundation.

With the move, Incheon hopes to attract by 2014 up to ten times more medical tourists to the nation annually than at the present time. The current figure is around two-thousand per year.
