Czech Republic lifted travel restrictions on citizens of South Korea on Monday.

According to the South Korean Embassy in Prague on Tuesday, the central European country lifted its entry ban on citizens of six countries outside the European Union.

The latest move will enable South Korean citizens to stay in the Czech Republic for three months without visas.

The measure comes after the Council of the European Union adopted a recommendation late last month on the gradual lifting of the temporary restriction on non-essential travel into the region.

The Council released a list of 14 nations, including South Korea, whose citizens will be allowed to enter the EU's 27 member countries and four other nations in Europe's visa-free Schengen travel zone.
