The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) hit a record high for the third day in a row on Thursday.

The index rose 20-point-32 points, or zero-point-76 percent to close at two-thousand-696-point-22.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining eight-point-27 points, or zero-point-92 percent, to close at 907-point-61.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened three-point-eight won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-97-point-zero won.
