The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 33-point-49 points, or one-point-07 percent on Tuesday, to close at three-thousand-169-point-08. 

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining nine-point-72 points, or zero-point-97 percent, to close at one-thousand-10-point-37. 

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened one won against the dollar, ending the session at one-thousand-125-point-nine won.
