The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell 40-point-33 points, or one-point-24 percent on Friday, to close the week at three-thousand-202-point-32.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing 12-point-99 points, or one-point-24 percent, to close at one-thousand-31-point-14.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened three-point-eight won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-150-point-three won.
