New COVID-19 Cases at 10,890

New COVID-19 cases registered in the ten-thousands on Thursday.

The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency(KDCA) said on Thursday that ten-thousand-890 infections were reported throughout Wednesday, including seven from overseas, bringing the total caseload to around 30-million-605-thousand.

The figure is down by some two-thousand from a day ago but rose by about 33-hundred from a week ago after March First Independence Movement Day. Compared to two weeks ago, it dropped by 49. 

The number of critically ill patients under hospital care rose by four from the previous day to 143.

Wednesday added 20 deaths, raising the death toll to 34-thousand-81. The overall fatality rate stands at zero-point-11 percent.
