New COVID-19 cases are on a steady decline registering below 13-thousand.

The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) said Saturday that 12-thousand-805 infections were reported throughout Friday including 24 from overseas.

The tally is down by 18-hundred from a week ago and over ten-thousand from two weeks prior and is the lowest for a Saturday in 32 weeks.

The number of critically ill hospitalized patients edged down by three to 284, remaining in the 200 range for the sixth day.

Friday added 16 deaths raising the death toll to 33-thousand-713. The overall fatality rate stands at zero-point-11 percent.
