"Team Kim," the South Korean women's curling team competing at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, will face Sweden on Thursday in their pursuit to secure a berth in the semifinals.

The 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic silver medalists secured an 8-7 come-from-behind victory against Denmark in the eighth round of preliminaries held at the National Aquatics Centre on Wednesday.

The five-member team, who lost to Switzerland 4-8 earlier that day, is jointly placed fourth with Canada and Britain after recording four wins and four defeats.

The outcome of Thursday’s match will determine whether Team Kim can advance to the semifinals. Progression, however, is also dependent on other results going Korea's way.
