New daily COVID-19 cases registered in the four-thousands on Monday.

The Central Disease Control Headquarters said that four-thousand-349 infections were reported throughout Sunday, including 18 from overseas, bringing the total caseload to nearly 30-million-844-thousand.

The figure is down by five-thousand-375 from a day ago due in part to fewer tests administered on Sunday, but rose by 145 from a week ago and was up by 425 from two weeks ago.

The daily average for the past week was tallied at ten-thousand-178.

The number of hospitalized patients for intensive care increased by five from a day ago to 136, while seven deaths were reported additionally, up by three from a day ago.

The death toll now stands at 34-thousand-281, with the overall fatality rate remaining at zero-point-11 percent.
