New daily COVID-19 cases registered in the 13-thousands on Tuesday. 

The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency said that 13-thousand-375 infections were reported throughout Monday including 16 from overseas, bringing the total caseload to over 30 million-857-thousand.

The figure rose by some nine-thousand from a day ago due to increased tests after the weekend. It has increased by over 12-hundred from a week ago and about 13-hundred from two weeks ago. 

The number of critically ill patients in hospital dropped by four from the previous day to 132.

Monday added eight deaths raising the death toll to 34-thousand-289. The overall fatality rate stands at zero-point-11 percent.
