New COVID-19 Cases at 10,735

The nation added slightly over ten-thousand new COVID-19 cases as the pandemic situation remains steady.

The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency on Friday said that ten-thousand-735 infections were reported throughout Thursday, including 17 from overseas, bringing the total caseload to over 30 million-894-thousand.

The figure dropped by about 13-hundred from a day ago, but rose by 367 from a week ago and 458 from weeks ago.

The number of critically ill patients in the hospital dropped by six from the previous day to 130.

Thursday added nine deaths, raising the death toll to 34-thousand-318. The overall fatality rate stands at zero-point-11 percent.
