New COVID-19 Cases at 14,284

The nation added about 14-thousand new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday.

The Central Disease Control Headquarters said on Thursday that 14-thousand-284 infections were reported throughout Wednesday, including 43 from overseas, bringing the total caseload to over 31 million-129-thousand.

The figure dropped by some two-thousand from the previous day, but rose slightly by about 190 from a week prior. Compared to two weeks ago, the figure rose by over 26-hundred.

The number of hospitalized patients in intensive care is down by two from the previous day to 151.

Wednesday added eleven deaths to raise the death toll to 34-thousand-460, with the overall fatality rate remaining at zero-point-11 percent.
