New daily COVID-19 cases registered in the seven-thousands on Monday.

The Central Disease Control Headquarters said that seven-thousand-178 infections were reported throughout Sunday, including 38 from overseas, bringing the total caseload to 31-million-415-thousand.

The figure is down by ten-thousand-225 from a day ago due in part to fewer tests administered on Sunday. It also declined by 986 from a week ago but was up by one-thousand-406 from two weeks ago.

The daily average for the past week was tallied at 18-thousand-526.

The number of hospitalized patients in intensive care dropped by six from a day ago to 150, while seven deaths were reported additionally, up by one from a day ago.

The death toll now stands at 34-thousand-610, with the overall fatality rate remaining at zero-point-11 percent.
