Following up on last week’s thoughts: 

It’s sad when listeners want to limit themselves to just “the hits” but doubly so when they show disinterest back to the artist by removing choices or blatantly ignoring the non-hits during a performance.

Some of my absolute favorite songs are B-sides. I appreciate OFD a lot for exposing me to artists I hadn’t heard yet, but I spend time digging into back catalogs as well and I am always excited to hear a song that’s new to me and reaches out to grab my ear.

One thing I miss about KPop concerts here is op ^ening acts, I have such fond memories of discovering that I like a new junior band before the main one comes out. Instead the venues play all the popular songs we’re about to hear on a recorded loop right before the concert without any variety which I feel creates some burnout.
