Back in the days when everyone wasn't doing well,
There lived a medical student in a shabby boarding room in the outskirts of town.
Struggling to pay his tuition, he packed a few of his precious books and headed to a used bookstore.

“ Anybody here?… Is anyone here? “

The bookstore owner, who knew that the student was broke, always bought his books back. But on that day, the owner was sick and the store was closed.

The starving student was so exhausted to head back home. So he went next door to ask for some water.
He then asked a young girl who was in the house alone if she could give him something to eat.

“ There's nothing to eat…”
“ Then can I please have some water? “

Without questioning, the girl went into the kitchen and brought out a bottle of milk which looked like her lunch.
Although the medical student felt shameful, he quickly drank all of it.

Years passed by.

The girl’s mother became seriously ill. The mother lost her consciousness many times and even went through a surgery. The girl never left her mother’s side.
As if the girl's deep love became a cure, the mother miraculously regained her consciousness.

On the day her mother got out of the hospital, the girl was so happy but she also worried about huge hospital bill.
The girl was so surprised when she received the bill.

“ All bills have already been paid off with a bottle of milk. ”

The poor medical student, who had long ago asked for something to drink, had become a very respectable doctor.

One bottle of milk…
It wasn't just a drink to the starving student.
It was a meal as well as hope.
