This idol star has kept very busy in both the music and film industry even after his group g.o.d. disbanded. Following the group’s breakup, Ahn hosted a popular music chart show called “Music Camp” in 2004 and the late night radio program “Kiss the Radio” for which he won the Best Radio DJ prize at the 2004 KBS Broadcasting Awards. He also worked on the original soundtrack album for mobile drama “Five Stars” and male group Paran’s second album in 2006. In addition to working for other artists, he released his first solo digital single “Only If It Were a Dream.”
Joining his g.o.d. pals Sohn Ho-young and Yoon Gye-sang, Ahn is to make his acting debut with a film called “Cannot Wait Anymore” in 2008. In the film, Ahn plays Mincheol, the leader and guitarist of an underground rock band. But this is not the only acting role he won, for he has one of the leading roles in the joint Korean-Chinese drama “O Brother, Where Art Thou” also slated for airing next year.
