TWS has been certified gold from the Recording Industry Association of Japan for its debut song “Plot Twist.” 

The track surpassed 50 million streams, making TWS the first rookie boy band to achieve the milestone. The group debuted with the song in January last year and later topped Melon’s Year-End chart. 

In Japan, TWS officially debuted in July with “Nice to See You Again,” which went platinum, and wrapped its first tour there with around 50,000 attendees. Earlier this month, the group released its fourth EP “Play Hard,” which sold over 630,000 copies in its first week.
