South Korea pitcher Ryu Hyun-jin of the Los Angeles Dodgers has left for the U.S. to prepare for his second season in Major League Baseball.
 
Ryo told reporters at Incheon International Airport on Friday that he would perform well from the first game and get as many wins as possible to dispel concerns of a sophomore slump.
 
He also said he will work hard with his teammates to make sure they go to the World Series.
 
Ryu will join the Dodgers’ for spring training in Arizona from February tenth after two weeks of personal training in Los Angeles.
