South Korea’s top alpine skier Jung Dong-hyun boosted his profile ahead of the Sochi Winter Olympics on Friday with a win in South Korea.
Jung won gold medal at the men’s slalom event with a time of one minute 18-point-62 seconds at the Sungchang Cup Alpine Ski World Championships in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province.
Jung competed in the Vancouver Games four years ago but didn’t finish his race due to an injury.
