A movie based on the life of former President Roh Moo-hyun has sold more than ten million tickets.

The film called "The Attorney" is the ninth Korean movie to reach the milestone at the box office. The movie’s distributor said the film topped the ten-million mark as of 1 a.m. Sunday just 33 days after its release.
 
Korean movies have attracted more than ten million people for three years in a row. “Thieves” and “Masquerade” reached the figure in 2012 and “Miracle in Cell No.7” last year.
 
“The Attorney” is about a career-oriented, materialistic lawyer’s life and his transformation into a human rights activist. Actor Song Kang-ho plays the male lead “Song Woo-seok.”
