South Korea says North Korea will be allowed to play in the 2014 Incheon Asian Games if it applies in line with international practices.
 
A Unification Ministry official said the North has not yet officially informed the South of its participation, and it must notify the games organizing committee how many athletes it plans to send by the June 20th deadline.
 
Just a day earlier, the North’s Korean Central News Agency reported the country’s men's and women’s soccer teams will compete at the Asian Games. 

The games will be held from September 19th to October fourth in the South Korean port city of Incheon.
