Speed Skater Mo to Leave Sochi Empty-handed

South Korean Speed skater Mo Tae-bum failed to medal in the men’s 1000 meter event at the Sochi Winter Olympics.

Mo finished 12th in Adler Arena on Wednesday with a time of one minute and nine-point-37 seconds.
 
Mo also missed out on a medal in the men's 500 meter event this week, finishing fourth. He won two medals at the 2010 winter games.
 
Fellow skater Lee Kyu-hyuk finished 21st in the final race of his career. Sochi is Lee's sixth and final Olympic appearance. 
 
In women’s curling, South Korea lost 7-4 to Sweden.
 
In luge doubles, South Korea’s Park Jin-yong and Cho Jung-myung clocked a combined one minute and 43-point-118 seconds in in two races to finish 18 out of 19.
 
Currently, South Korea ranks eleventh in the total medal tally.
