Defending Olympic champion Kim Yu-na will compete in the short program at the Sochi Winter Olympics on Wednesday.
 
Kim will begin the quest to defend her title at the Iceberg Skating Palace in Sochi at 2:24 a.m., Korea time. Her program has been choreographed to “Send in the Clowns.”
 
Kim will compete 17th out of 30 skaters, which includes South Koreans Park So-youn and Kim Hae-jin.
 
The top 24 skaters in the short program will advance to free skate on Friday. 

Kim won gold in 2010 at the Vancouver Winter Olympics with record scores.
