Kim Yu-na Ends Competitive Career with Beautiful Performance

Anchor: Figure skater Kim Yu-na gave a flawless performance in the free skate at the Sochi Winter Olympics. She finished second, but her stunning show was an outstanding way to end her competitive career. 
Our Kim Soyon reports.
 
Report: The crowd grew silent as Kim Yu-na began her performance.

People cheered when she pulled off her first three consecutive jump routine.  

Her elegant spins were also perfect. 
 
But her performance only seemed to get better as the minutes wore on.
 
When she ended the free skate event with two consecutive jumps, she received a standing ovation from the audience. 
 
Tears welled up in her eyes after the strong performance. 
 
Kim won silver with a score of 144-point-19 points and a combined score of 219-point-eleven points for the free skate and short program.

“I think it was successful. My performance matched my efforts. I made no mistakes today and did my best. So, I won’t dwell on it.”
 
Russia's Adelina Sotnikova took the gold with 224-point-59 points. 

Despite Kim's great show, she failed to repeat as Olympic champion as fans around the world had hoped.
 
Regardless of the medal color, Korean figure skating queen Kim Yu-na has already become a legend. 
 
And though Sochi marked the end of Kim’s competitive days, it was not her last dance on the ice.
