South Korean athletes have returned home after 17 days of competition at the Winter Olympics in the Russian city of Sochi.

Speed skating gold medalists Lee Sang-hwa, Park Seung-hi, figure skater Kim Yu-na and other Team Korea members arrived at Incheon International Airport Tuesday afternoon.

The Korean Olympic Committee awarded medals made of chocolate to the athletes in acknowledgement of their efforts.

The athletes vowed to achieve good results in the 2018 Winter Games in Pyeongchang.

South Korea finished 13th in Sochi, with three gold medals, three silver and two bronze.
