S. Korea Shuts Out Greece in pre-World Cup Friendly

South Korea shut out Greece 2-0 on Wednesday in a pre-World Cup friendly.

Strikers Park Chu-young and Song Heung-min scored the only goals of the game in Athens.

The win is a boost for Team Korea, led by Coach Hong Myung-bo, as it prepares for this June’s 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Wednesday marked the first time in 13 months for Park to play for South Korea’s national soccer team. It was his first goal for team Korea in nearly two-and-a-half years.
