A miniature garden created by using 3D printers and inspired by South Korea's Dokdo islets will be shown at an event in London this week.

The garden, created by South Korean designer and environment artist, Hwang Ji-hae, will be displayed as part of "miNiATURE", the first ever exhibition of 3D printed gardens.

Hwang used 3D printed models of the islets and patterns of wild plants that grow only on Dokdo and South Korea's Ulleung Island to emphasize ecological sovereignty.

The event at London's The Strand Gallery will be held from Thursday to Saturday. miNiaTURE will also be shown this year in Australia, the U.S. and Tokyo.
