The Korea-China Friendship Association is looking into jointly producing a movie based on Korean independence fighter Ahn Jung-geun.
 
The association said it is preparing to make a film on Ahn's life and philosophy and looking for a director.
 
Korean members of the association are seeking to recruit Chinese film director Zhang Yimou.
 
The association plans to begin consultations with Zhang when he returns to China from the United States next month.
