S. Korean Catholic Church Preparing for Pope's Visit

South Korea’s Catholic church says its committee preparing for Pope Francis's visit will hold working-level talks with its Vatican counterparts from Monday in Rome.

During the three-day talks, the preparatory committee will visit the Vatican’s public relations office among other key offices and discuss details for the masses and public relations activities the pope will take part in.

South Korea’s Catholic Church plans to carry out nationwide prayer meetings and faith-practicing campaigns while preparing for the pope’s visit.

The Archdiocese of Seoul has also formed a preparatory committee of its own and unveiled a logo marking the pope’s upcoming trip.

Pope Francis will visit South Korea from August 14th to 18th at the invitation of President Park Geun-hye and South Korea’s Catholic church.
