Kim Jong-un Reelected as N. Korean Leader

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has been reelected as the First Chairman of the country's highest decision making body, The National Defense Commission (NDC).

North Korean media outlets reported that Kim was reelected on Wednesday in the first session of the North’s newly elected rubber-stamp parliament.

Kim was elected as the first chairman of the NDC after its creation in a parliamentary session in April 2012.

The North’s Constitution stipulates that the First Chairman of the NDC is the country’s supreme leader who commands all military forces.
